March 1, 2012 is the next installment of Public Works' collaboration with Overlap.org.
OVERLAP is a place and time to join our diverse interests in beautiful music, food, film and art, and celebrate the vibrant micro-communities that make this city amazing. We are growing creative community. SFBG interviewed Overlap founder Christopher Willits about the event here.
The evening begins at 7pm with a unique workshop on the creative process from accomplished San Francisco musician and artist Christopher Willits, followed by a surprise film screening, live performances from Mophono (one of the main leaders in the SF beat scene, both as a producer and organizer of events) and Danny Paul Grody's beautiful guitar work (Danny's band The Drift recently went on tour with Explosions in the Sky and have a new album out). Throughout the night local organic food will be served, Slayer's Club Dj's will be sharing their impeccable taste of music, and SF art and craft vendors will be sharing their latest work for purchase.
